What I'm Loving Wednesday

I am linking up over here for this week's edition of what I'm loving because I need to be reminded of the good things today. It has been a long week and it's only 7 AM on Wednesday.

  • I'm loving that I'm done with classes for the week. Just have office hours tomorrow and that's it!
  • I'm loving this amazing weather we've been having! Beautiful blue skies, warm (but not hot) temperatures... so nice!
  • I love that I got to have some amazing Thai food and delicious gelato with a friend last night. Yeah, we like our hodgepodge of international food!
  • I'm loving that my presentation yesterday went well. I presented a research design proposal for class, and it will make up the bulk of my master's thesis, so it was good to get positive feedback on it.
  • I'm loving what we have planned for the weekend. Road trip to Huntsville and College Station on Friday, bridal shower on Saturday, and movie-dinner date on Sunday sounds fantastic to me!
  • I'm loving that the end of the semester is near. One more week of classes, two take-home finals, two papers, and one problem set stand between me and summer.
  • I love that I am quite happy with where I am. I like my graduate program, I'm happy with the opportunities it has given me, and my fellow grad students are quite a fun bunch.
  • I love that our one year wedding anniversary is coming up next month, including a fun anniversary trip. Wow... where did the past year go???
What about you? What is happy in your life today?

What I'm Loving...

It has been kind of difficult to be positive lately with school, 24-hour long storms, and not getting to see my husband much. Hopefully taking part in This Kind of Love's link up will help!

I'm loving that it is raining. Though it makes it dangerous & scary to drive, our area still needs the precipitation badly!

I'm loving that I get to spend the entire evening with Matt tonight. Neither of us have class today so we actually get to have dinner together and everything!

I'm loving that some of Matt's family is coming into town this weekend, and hopefully I'll actually get to spend some time with them and not read the entire time!

I'm loving that this semester will challenge me. I know I can complain a lot about how much work it is, but this is grad school- that's the point. Plus, as Matt says, it builds character. Or something like that.

I'm loving that I get to cook tonight. Hey, it's the little things!

And because I want a cute, happy picture, here ya go!

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I decided to do something new today so I'm linking up with this blog to talk about what I'm loving today!

1) As long as I didn't bomb my statistics exam last week, I am done with my first semester of grad school! If I did bomb it, I have to take the final this Saturday (ugh!) so here's hoping I got my A. But this semester was definitely a learning experience-- showed me how much I don't know... very humbling!

 2) I'm loving that I get to see my family soon for Christmas! We'll be driving down there in 2 weeks from today and I'm so excited to see them!

Love them :)

3) I'm loving that I'm finally recovered from the Death Cold of 2011. 3 days of not being able to talk = personal torture.

4) I'm loving that God has been showing me all the things I have to be thankful for and that has definitely made the past few days very joyful.

5) I'm loving Christmas music. Traditional, contemporary, instrumental, etc-- love it all!

6) I'm loving our little Christmas tree loaded with presents for our families. Can't wait to celebrate the holiday with them.

7) I'm especially loving that I get to spend his birthday and Christmas with my husband for the first time. Since his birthday was so close to the 25th, we never got to see each other (silly long distance). Another reason being married is amazing.

He kinda has my heart
